Have Specific Questions?
Speak directly with our Chief Flight Instructor or Director of Maintenance to discuss training schedules, leaseback pro formas, or inspection slots.
Will I really get to fly the airplane myself?
Yes! From the moment you climb into the pilot seat, your instructor will guide you. Once airborne at cruising altitude, you will take positive control of the yoke/stick and throttles to fly straight-and-level, climbs, descents, and gentle turns.
Do I need prior flight experience or an FAA medical certificate?
No prior experience or FAA medical certificate is required for an introductory Discovery Flight. All you need is a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) and a desire to experience flying.
Does this flight count toward my Private Pilot License?
Can I bring a guest or family member along on the flight?
Subject to aircraft weight and balance limits and chief pilot approval, you may bring one guest along in the rear passenger seat for a small additional passenger weight fee. Please notify us when scheduling.
Can I rent an aircraft after earning my certificate?
What should I wear for my discovery flight lesson?
What happens if the weather is bad on my scheduled day?
How do I continue flight training after my discovery flight?
How do I purchase a discovery flight as a gift for someone?
You can purchase a Discovery Flight gift voucher directly through our website booking system or by calling our Olympia flight desk. Vouchers are valid for 12 months with easy online scheduling.
