By accessing this website, scheduling flight lessons, booking aircraft rentals, or authorizing maintenance work with Prop Culture Aviation & Maintenance LLC, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR).
Under 14 CFR § 91.3, the Pilot-in-Command of an aircraft is directly responsible for, and is the final authority as to, the safe operation of that aircraft. Prop Culture strictly supports any instructor or pilot decision to postpone, cancel, or divert a flight for reasons of weather, personal readiness, or mechanical precaution. No student, renter, or owner will face penalty for making a conservative safety-of-flight cancellation.
General aviation flights are inherently subject to Pacific Northwest weather conditions including low ceiling, fog, icing levels, and crosswinds exceeding aircraft limitations. We will make every effort to notify you in advance if conditions require rescheduling. Discovery flights rescheduled due to weather remain fully valid for rebooking at the next mutually agreeable window.
All certificated pilots wishing to rent Prop Culture aircraft as Pilot-in-Command must complete our standardized aircraft checkout syllabus with a Prop Culture CFI, maintain a current flight review and medical certificate, comply with our renter insurance minimums, and adhere to KOLM local noise abatement procedures.
All maintenance estimates are based on initial visual and diagnostic assessment. If teardown or disassembly reveals additional unairworthy discrepancies or requires replacement parts exceeding original estimates, our team will contact the registered owner or operator for explicit authorization prior to performing non-routine work.
Aviation activities carry inherent risks. Detailed liability releases and pilot agreements are executed prior to flight instruction and solo dispatch in accordance with Washington State law.
